i think we have a problem with transfinite joy. as a charter member of this, i was content to help start it and then watch from a distance as it grew and evolved. the problem? i don't like what it's turned into.

consider the case of dr. guilloutine. all he wanted to do was make a machine that made beheadings painless. the people took it and turned it into a killing machine, heads rolled and the streets filled with blood. is this what he wanted? probably not.

nor is what has happened to transfinite joy what i'd like to happen to it. it's turned from a literary journal with some comedy to a comedy with some literary journal. this, i can understand. but the thing that i dislike is that people are taking it to use against other students. josh yon, jacob hicks...will this page turn into another way to ridicule and isolate gssms? i will write an article on this if you wish, but i don't think it'll help. instead, i vote that we tear it down. people won't stop trying to destroy others to gain popularity, you know that it's true. by taking this down at least we provide one less way that they can do so.
