Mission Re-Statement

When asking the PowerPup assistant in Microsoft Word as to what Transfinite Joy : A Chronicle should use for a mission statement, this is what he had to tell us:

Send product suggestions
1 On the Help menu, point to Microsoft on the Web, and then click Send Feedback.
2 Click the hyperlink you want.

with that in mind, I believe it is probably a good idea to put down a semi-mission statement for Transfinite Joy : a Chronicle. The key to Transfinite Joy is it is entirely student based - student time, student effort, and while machines in the mac lab are used to upload the site, it is only out of convenience. Therefore, in a way Transfinite Joy's only mission is to exist for the students to have an artistic outlet. This may not be the GSAH, but we can still appreciate poems, art, literature, and Ike. However, it is not the intent of the creators of the site that it be used to be hurtful towards students or even admin. If anyone in admin is hurt, it will be because a truth plain to students is made clear. Bhuvana says funny stuff; I can vouch for it myself. People stay up after lights out; it has been known to happen. This said, Transfinite Joy should not be a forum for malicious attacks on the characters of individuals. Would Matt England cry if he knew we made a South Park parody of his leaving? Would Kat be crushed to learn she is our diva? I hope not, because that was not the intent. So here is Transfinite Joy, a gift to from us the creators, to you the readers, and (hopefully) future Govies. Enjoy, and remember in the words of every Spiderman comic ever, "With great power comes great responsibility."
