Enormous fighting machines known as, "MechaRobots" have descended upon Hartsville and destroyed much of the downtown area. Several multistoried office buildings were toppled as the hideous foam rubber foes touched down from beyond our planet. Hartsville's defending forces, the GovieBots, were soon called into action. Emerging from their massive underground lair, the five separate GovieBots stood gleaming poised for action in the basin of the amphitheater. Quickly springing into action the five robotic defenders, the Red Falcon, Green Monkey, Blue Bear, Yellow Squid, and Black Tyrannosaurus, each individually took on one of the five separate MechaRobots. It is believed the evil alien lord Wegginnez sent the MechaRobots in order to destroy the GovieBots, the only fighting force stopping the dark overlord from enslaving the Earth. Said Major Bruce a scientist for the Robot Lab Corp. (creators of the GovieBots), "The evil Wegginnez knows that the GovieBots are the one thing keeping our world from his grasp. That is why he keeps sending more and more sophisticated MechaRobots to destroy them." Most of the Hartsvillians have evacuated to Florence, except for five girl students of the Governor's School, Ashley Milligan, Bevin Hearn, Natalie Watson, Dasha Solovieva, and Shan Wu. The South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Mathematics (GSSM) is a public, residential high school for academically advanced juniors and seniors. It offers a flexible, enriched, and balanced curriculum with a special focus on science and math. The daily class schedule is more like that of college than high school. When asked Mirah White, an RLC at the Governor's School said, "… The girls were all… taking showers, so… we let them stay behind." Says classmate Lewis Gunter, "Yeah, the girls never seem to be around when ever GovieBot is defending the city, and once I thought I heard them say something about having to, 'defend the city', but they claimed it was, 'act more gritty.'" The GovieBots routed all of the individual MechaRobots, but now they have combined to form an "Ultra- MechaRobot." In order to defend against this new more powerful foe, the GovieBots performed a series of choreographed martial arts like arm movements in order to combine into "Ultra- Super- Mega- GovieBot." At the time of this report, the Ultra- Super- Mega- GovieBot has taken out it's blazing neutrino beam sword and is in the process of battling for the very fate of our very world. If they fail, it is expected the tiny twins will summon the Mighty Mothra.
